For those of you who care (and who've not just come here hoping to find a few more specimens for your ever-increasing illicit porn collection) is an ancient Celtic language related to Cymraeg (Welsh), Kernewek (Cornish) and Brezhoneg (Breton). It was spoken in the North West of England and South West of Scotland from around 300AD to perhaps as late as 900AD by the native peoples of that region, who called themselves the Cymri, after whom Cumbria is named.

Unfortunately, unlike its sister languages, Cymbric was almost completely wiped out by the Norse and English, and very little is known about it. What you will find here is one of several reconstructed languages - an attempt to portray Cymbric as it was spoken during its lifetime.
